To celebrate our 25th year of mayhem and cheer we've partnered with The Establishment to purchase a whole barrel of bourbon whiskey exclusively for our krewe.
 
We've chosen to go with Dettling 1867 bourbon whiskey due to it's excellent cask strength single barrel bourbon whiskey offering and it's close location in Atmore, AL.
 
This will allow the krewe to auction off 5 spots for the winners to go and pick our exclusive barrel with Seth Dettling the owner of Dettling 1867.  Transportation will be provided to and from the tasting on a Mercedes party van for the lucky winners.
 
We plan to have a Dettling bourbon whiskey tasting event on Monday August 26th at Calvert's in the Heights at 6PM to auction off the first spot to go and pick the barrel. Free appetizers until they're gone and a sampling of Dettling 1867 single barrel cask strength will be available at the event.  One additional spot will be auctioned off before the General Membership meeting and 3 spots will be auctioned off after the meeting.  Future dates of auctions to be announced at a later date.
 
Barrel picking will be Saturday January 18th 2025.  Plan accordingly if you win a spot to go pick the barrel.
 
We will have an event scheduled for the release of the barrel shortly after the barrel has been picked.
